BC100XA is the ninth of just eleven cars built by H J Mulliner before the Vilhelm Koren designed S3 Continental “Chinese Eye” was introduced.

Eight were Right Hand Drive, with the other three Left Hand Drive cars going to America (BC6LXA), Switzerland (BC52LXA) and Belgium (BC104LXA).

Car is third built of just 63.
Following painting primer and fitting the wiring harness and hydraulic and fuel systems etc, the car was returned to MPW for finishing on 4th February 1971 – The day RR bankruptcy was announced.
Car is a rolling restoration. The only journey of note to date was the RREC Middlesex section trip to Reims shortly after the engine was rebuilt by Nigel Sandell.
